I know when I sell work at cons, people will always turn to the nearest male around my table first.  It doesn’t seem to matter if I’m the one drawing in plain view, and my boyfriend is sort of sitting like a lump behind me. Oh and some of the comments talking about females being better artists…SHUT UP. Gender doesn’t have anything to do with skill. >:/ Small bit of talent and a shit ton of practice are the two things you need for good art.
